Regional Forum:“Double Fatigue” to EU Enlargement

 

The efforts of the Western Balkans' countries and their European perspective were discussed in #Tirana during the Regional Forum:“Double Fatigue” to EU Enlargement: The Challenges and Prospect of the Western Balkans’ EU Accession,identifying the challenges, problems and accomplishments that Albania and #Western_Balkans countries are facing in their European path.

This Forum, organized with the initiative of EU Policy Hub and the support of Friedrich Ebert Foundation Tirana, gathered personalities from civil society organizations from the region, high representatives from the government and international community and researchers in the field to speak about the main processes and related policies that WB countries should undertake in the framework of the EU accession.
EU Ambassador in #Albania, Luigi Soreca addressed the meeting, pointing to the need for a stronger role of the civil society as well as well-prepared human resources necessary for the integration process to succeed.
