"Cooperation between the Trade Unions and the Civil Society in the labour environment"

The aim of the forum was to bring together trade unions and civil society organisations to discuss on the role that each of the actors can play in the world of labour, success factors of cooperation and challenges.  The universal labour rights, defined in the ILO Conventions are a vital pillar in the protection and promoting of human rights. It is important to connect trade unions and civil society organisations and create a common platform of cooperation to have more influence and sustainable results in protecting labour rights and overall the achievement of decent work.
